Elegant but rich, structured but velvety, this well balanced, classically flavored wine keeps expanding with each sip. It offers deep black cherry, blueberry, spearmint and cocoa aromas followed by enticing oak toast, cloves and cedar on the moderately tannic palate. Made from organically grown grapes.

Neal Family 2019 Howell Mountain Estate Cabernet Sauvignon
(Howell Mountain)
This layered and luxurious wine made from organically grown grapes is pitch black in color with a ruby rim. It wafts generous black cherries, blueberries oak toast and spaded loam aromas before mouthfilling black and blue fruits, mint and earth flavors take over. While tempting to drink now, the wine is a keeper. Best from 2027–2037. —J.G.

Neal Family 2021 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
(Napa Valley)
Very concentrated and firmly structured, this wine is built for aging. Deep, dark black cherries, black currants and blackberries are shaded by star anise, espresso crema and clove accents as sandy, supportive tannins lend a firm backbone. Made from half Rutherford and half Howell Mountain grapes.

This savory, subtle wine was made from organic grapes that fermented in stainless steel tanks and aged in mostly neutral French barrels. It is scented with green apples and fresh hay, then wraps a rich texture around tempting honeydew melon flavors.
