Howell Mountain Estate Legend
Our home estate sits high on Howell Mountain, where thin volcanic soil and elevation give small berries and firm, age-worthy structure. This case is a vertical: two bottles each of 2017, 2018 and 2019 alongside the 2021, 2022 and 2023, so you can taste what the mountain does across seven growing years. Three Legend Label bottlings come with it, each made from a single block and never sold outside the membership.

Rutherford Dust Legend
Rutherford Dust is the valley floor ground Mark grew up on, and the wines carry the fine, dusty tannin Rutherford is known for. This case is weighted to the vintages drinking well now, three bottles each of 2021 and 2022 with the 2019 and the 2023 either side. Two bottles of 2023 Legend Label Rutherford Dust come with it, available nowhere else.

Twelve bottles from both estates, chosen by Mark Neal. This is the only membership you can change: take his selection as it stands, or build your own twelve from the current releases and library wines. One bottle of 2023 Legend Label is required in any selection.

Exclusive to members
The Legend Label
Our Howell Mountain and Rutherford Dust properties are planted in blocks, and each block is picked and made on its own. Years of barrel selection, vineyard work and the Cabernet clones Mark hand-selects decide which barrels earn the Legend Label.
It is the best of the best, and it is available to Legend members only.

Neal Vineyards
In 1997, Mark Neal started digging caves into the mountainside of his Howell Mountain Estate property to fulfill his family’s dream of having a winery. Mark started making wine alongside his dad when he was 14.
With a legacy as long-time Napa Valley farmers and stewards of the land, this was the beginning of an exciting new chapter for the Neal family. Mark selected grapes from the Rutherford property he grew up on and has planted the Howell Mountain vineyard to create his first special cuvée – 1998 Neal Family Vineyards Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon.

When do my benefits start?
Membership privileges begin immediately at sign up. The 20% savings applies to all purchases throughout the time your membership is active. Certain items may be excluded from this savings.
Can I purchase additional wine during my membership?
Yes, you can purchase unlimited wines throughout your membership at 20% savings at any time.
How does renewal work?
Legend is an annual membership and auto renews on the date you signed up. You will receive notification 14 days and 5 days prior to your membership renewal.
Can I cancel?
Yes, at any time through your membership portal or by contacting the winery.
